Colgate should really market this tooth brush as the Slim Soft SUPER SMILE! The bristles on this toothbrush are unlike anything I've ever used before. Not only are the 17x smaller than a normal toothbrush, but they are also super flexible and can get to those tough to reach places. Get those yucky germs out of there!
I think this toothbrush is also PERFECT for my sensitive teeth. I have lost a lot of enamel and I know you can never "grow" it back but using products like the Colgate Slim Soft have really helped my sensitive chompers. Because the bristles are smaller and more fine, I do not push as hard when I brush my teeth, making them less sensitive to daily functions. However, don't think that just because it's small, it isn't mighty! The tiny bristles enable to the brush to reach deeper between teeth, removing any and all food particles. Delicate enough to reach the ins and outs of the mouth and tough enough to battle away the daily grim and gross.
I am so thrilled that I was sent this toothbrush for review from Influenster VoxBox and Colgate. Who knew a toothbrush could change the way I live and eat.
*I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

February Favorites
Hello Internet, It’s me, Stephanie.
I wanted to keep things off with my February Favorites! I
can’t wait to share with you all of my new monthly discoveries – some are old
and Stef Shopped*, while others are brand spanking/sparkling new to me THIS
month.
First up, I have to talk about The
Pore-fessional by Benefit Cosmetics.
This silky, lightweight primer has literally transformed the way I feel
about primers.
My oily skin has never looked smoother – not cakey and
completely mattified, but softly focused and flawless. The
Pore-fessional also works wonders under my BB Creams; helping to create the
perfect base. I am a firm believer that
a primer should always be worn to separate your skin care from your cosmetic
because no matter how good your cosmetic is, you still don’t want that mixing
with your healthy skin routine.
Next is the Betty Lou Manizer by
The Balm Cosmetics. AH-MAZING. This luxurious bronzer gently illuminates the
skin while giving me a fabulous sun-kissed glow. This winter has definitely knocked me down to
my palest yet, so the Betty Lou Manizer has
been giving me the year round color I need.
After many months of searching, I was able to purchase this
from a Duane Reade in New York City.
Segway to my next favorite, the Sonia Kashuk Large
Angled Contour Brush. This is my
favorite brush to apply bronzer. I
devotedly use this with my Betty Lou
Manizer and my Urban Decay Flushed
palette (but we’ll talk about that another time).
Another Sonia Kashuk/brush favorite this month is the Spoolie
Brush for my brows. I come through
my brows with this bad boy BEFORE using my Benefit brow-zings. Once combed and
organized, I will fill the brows in. I usually
will go over the brows with the spoolie once they are filled in, just to give a
more natural look.
Speaking of brows, my next favsie is the Anastasia Brow Wiz. I initially fill my brows in with my
Benefit brow-zings but after I comb
off any excess product, I do go back with the Brow Wiz just to define the arch and add a little length to my brow
“tail”. Every brow baby needs this in
their makeup tool box. It is THE brow creator.
This month has been a bit hectic so on the days when I am
feeling a bit rushed, I have been throwing the Maybelline 24
Hour Color Tattoo in 70 Barely Branded all over my lids with a bit of
MAC soft brown in the crease (just to define my little Asiany eyes). This color looked like it was originally part
of a trending collection, but has seemed to have gained so much success that it
has earned a place in the permanent collection.
Congratulations, Barely Branded!
Moving on to lips. I
have been sucking down my MAC Cremesheen
Lipstick in Offshoot. Now I believe
Offshoot is from the MAC Me Over Collection.
I got this mid-toned pinky lipstick at an CCO*. I have been literally in love since the day I
bought it, however February seemed to be the Offshoot month. I wore this every where – look out March,
Offshoot is coming for you.
Another lip look I am loving is the NYX Soft
Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo. NYX
describes San Paulo as a “plummy pink” but I find it to be a cool-toned pinky
raisin. Don’t let the price tag fool
you, this little nuggets are packed full of pigment and staying power. I definitely see myself scoring more of these
in March.
Finally, I have three nail products that are my LIFE right
now. First we have the Nail
Tek II. Without this amazing base
coat, I swear, my nails would have fallen off my fingers. I have also be in love with the Mariah Carey
for OPI – The Impossible. Being a complete and total Mariah Carey
freak, I had to purchase this entire collection. The fact that this is a full glitter polish
that dries to a fantasticly long lasting MATTE FINISH – unreal. Thank you OPI for making a killer
polish. If you haven’t tried to liquid sand formula yet, you better haul
your butt to Ulta and scoop up the few that are left. Finally, I am in love with my Layla Cermaic
Effect Polish in ML24 (or maybe it’s CE 52 – the names on the Layla
polishes are so confusing). But this is
a gorg purple with flecks of gold and green, almost leaf like glitters. TDF*.
Well that about wraps up my February monthly favorites. Thanks for sticking with me through all the words, words, words. Let me know in the comments below what you
guys would be interested in reading about next.
I plan on doing a brow Step-by-Stef* and a review of the new Urban Decay
Flushed, Naked Basics, and BB Cream so stay tuned for more from me.
xxSteffie
